He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignace Hilaire and Amelia Morris Hilaire; his wife Helen Lumar Hilaire; his children, Gardenia Hilaire and Joseph Hilaire; and his siblings, Warren Hilaire, Beatrice Roberts, Antoinette Tanner, Ameila Russell, Edith Meadoux, Geda Landeaux, Betty Linton and Lucille Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Hilaire (Sheila), Tracy Hilaire, Sr. (Lynette), Randy Hilaire, Sr. (Carol), Reginald Hilaire (Vashita), Demetris Young (Curtis) and Rolander Bradley (Dwayne); his daughter-in-law Gail Hilaire; his sisters, Evelyn Barre and Juanita Green; his godchildren, Whitney and Carl Lumar; and his son Armand Keller.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Life Funeral Services (315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052). Viewing was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 8:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2349 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
