She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Roussell and Myrtle Roussell; her son Terrance Anthony Bovie; her grandparents, Felecien August, Veleda Dinvaut August Jasmine, Joseph and Florence Roussell; her siblings, Raymond Roussell, Larry Roussell, Sr. and Jane Roussell; and her nephew Larry Roussell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Monica, Denise (Frank), Desiree (Dylan) and Chisaraha; her grandchildren, Terri, Marlon, Chelsea, Tyson and Dailyn; her sisters-in-law, Francis Bovie and Cora Carter; her friend Barbara Isaac; and her godchildren, Reggie Phillips and Shelita Lewis. She is also survived by grandkids, 2 great great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church (320 Courthouse Ln, Hahnville, LA 70068). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery (2349 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049).
