He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Adams and Cecile Walker Adams; his parents-in-law, Oscar Miller and Bertha Burke Miller; his brother Tharis Adams (Blackie); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Savoie, Sterling Miller, Timothy Donald, Irene Bailey, Vivian Miller, Elanda Adams, Vivian Allen, Audrey Miller Hall and Lorita Savoie.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Miller Adams; his children, Kischa Ann Adams and Kashanta "Lucy" Adams-Warren (Trey); his grandchildren, Mijah Adams, Brionne Adams Vinning (Justin), A'Myrai Adams, Kalen Burse, Jalen Burse, Kayleigh Adams and Kynley Warren; his great grandchild Harper Vinning; his brother Milton Adams (Dian); and his siblings-in-law, Rose Donald and Raymond Bailey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
