He is survived by: his children, Angelia Ducote (Jesse) and Riley Jason Broussard (Andi); his grandchildren, Beaux Ducote, Dusty Ducote, Rayne Ducote, Shaw Ducote, Roy Broussard, John Broussard and Elizabeth Broussard; and his siblings, Judy Firmin (Carl), Brenda Juneau (Darrell), Randy Broussard (Hernell) and Peggy Essik (Allan).
