Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sharlene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlin Gautreaux and Hermina B. Gautreaux. She is survived by: her daughter Kristie (Renee Sonnier) of Duson; her siblings, Marlene Stonicher of Duson, Allen (Marlyn Gautreaux) of Carencro and Ronald (Lynette Gautreaux) of Carencro; and her godchildren, Angela Touchet of Duson, Skylyn Valsin of Duson, D'Andre Touchet, Jaylah Fontenette and Jaron LeBlanc. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Rayne (900 E Texas Ave, Rayne, LA 70578). A rosary was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel (900 E Texas Ave, Rayne, LA 70578).
