She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Mae Schornick Hanks and Roy C. Hanks; and her brothers, Roy Hanks, Johnnie Hanks and Charles Hanks.
She is survived by: her sister Gammie; her son John Hanks (Kelly Hanks); her brother George Hanks; her grandchildren, Brittany Arceneaux, Arthur Arceneaux and Christal Hanks; and her great grandchildren, Jonah Robin and Isabelle Potier.
