He was predeceased by: his son Randall James Thibodeaux; his grandson Aaron Joseph Savoie; his parents, Louis "Red" Thibodeaux and Joyce B. Thibodeaux; and his sister JoAnn Thibodeaux.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dana M. T. (Raymond Guidry) and Jamie Jo Thibodeaux (Jonathon Morris); his brothers, Johnny (Wanda Thibodeaux) of Duson and Harold Thibodeaux of Duson; his grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Thibodeaux, Kylie Ann Miller, Mirah Marie Miller, Leah Aaron Guidry and Jacob Evan Guidry; and his great grandchildren, Kaecen Kole Credeur and Dean Tyler McMurtry.
