He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Hanks of Duson and Debra Sonnier of Duson; his brother Daniel Hanks, Jr.; his wife Kirsten of Lafayette; his grandparents, William Hanks of Duson, Elodie Jacquneaux of Duson and Joseph E. Sonnier; his stepgrandmother Sue Sonnier of Scott; his nephew Hunter M. Hebert; and his niece Madeline Hanks.
