With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Helen Chaisson of Duson, Louisiana, who passed away on December 6, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Laura Jones; her parents, Joseph Chaisson and Louise Chargois Chaisson; and her siblings, Rose Mary Chaisson, Ronald Forest Chaisson, Paul Daniel Chaisson and Joseph "Miki" Chaisson.
She is survived by: her daughter Pat; her significant other Wilton Alexander, Sr.; her daughter Peggy Jones Hamberlin; her adoptive son Derome; her granddaughters, Leurel Thibeaux and Chrystal Hamberlin; her great grandchildren, Kameron Thibeaux, Killin Thibeaux, Kristyn Thibeaux, Kylie Hamberlin and Kadon Hamberlin; her godchildren, Lawrence Lee Edmond, Sr., Michelle Breaux, Raymond Chaisson, Gannon Menard, Thaddeus Breaux and Trayford Jones; and her brothers, Calvin "Roy" Chaisson, Darrell Chaisson, Golden Girls, Sedonia Solomon and Jean Caillier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a. m. All attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
