He is survived by: his wife Lucy Despanie Chaisson; his children, April Despanie, Starwood (Vince) of Lafayette, LA, Dana Chaisson of Ennis, TX and Marcus Chaisson of Lafayette, LA; his brother Louis "TBoone" Chaisson, Jr. (Verna Lee) of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Elijah Black, Chancei White and Lauryn Starwood; his sister-in-law Loretta Despanie Davis; and his nieces, Mathilda Bernard, Lisa and Christina Adams. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, and extended family.
