He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Dugas and Marie Bernice Trahan Dugas; his sister Stephanie Dugas; and his grandparents, Ambrose, Edmazie Dugas, H. J. and Ella Trahand.

He is survived by: his sisters, Alberta T. Dugas of Duson and Bernita J. Dugas of Duson; his nephew Kori Dugas (Georgette); his grandchildren, Laura Mae Dugas, Amber Cormier and Makeneze Cormier; his godchildren, Roddy Pirouznia, Jude Leger and Geraldine Cormier; and his cousins, Brenda Pirouznia and Judy Melancon.
