It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dalbert R. Bernard Sr. (Duson, Louisiana), who passed away on February 18, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Bernard; his grandson Eric Lane Melancon; his former wife Elisa Jane Albert Bernard; his parents, Jean Bernard and Hilda Kidder; and his sister Mary Talley (Calvin).
He is survived by: his children, Mona Dronet (Willie) of Duson, Tina Anthony (Barry) of Dora, AL, Dalbert Ray Bernard, Jr. of Carencro and James Bernard (Betty) of Carencro; and his grandchildren, Robert, Bobby, Gavin, Cortland, Jansen, Dylan, Nicole, Hannah, Mackynzi, Laila, Raylie, Steven, Logan, Toni, Natalie and Cecil. He is also survived by twenty-seven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
