He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Dion and Angelina Dion; and his sisters, Marie Dion, Rose Foret, Josephine Parfait, Lona Verdin and Hazel Verdin.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Billiot Deon; his daughters, Raqual Anderson (Carlos), Rachel Deon and Regina Decol (Patrick Boudreaux); his grandchild Tyrek Deon; and his brother John Dean. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
