She was predeceased by: her father Daniel Callahan; and her grandparents, Eunice Matherne, Ivy Dean and Elma Dean. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Don" McGowan; her children, Jessica McGowan and Jonathan Verdin; her stepson Dale McGowan; her grandchildren, Dathan Eschete, McKenna Verdin, Zack Pylate, Ra'Nydriah McGowan, Delijah McGowan, Samyriah McGowan and Damoni McGowan; and her mother Alice Dean.
