She was predeceased by: her brother Eulin Guidry; and her parents, Odon Guidry and Ophelia Liner Guidry. She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Boy" Carrere; and her children, Ernest, Kevin, Caroline, Elaine, Betsy, Patrice and Amanda. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be at Bayou Blue Assembly.
