With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby N Ellis of Dubach, Louisiana, born in Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Alexander Crawford and Claude David Crawford; her husband R. C. "Chick" Ellis; her siblings, Emmett Crawford and Melba Barmore; and her sons, Mark Porter, David Porter and Joseph Charles "Chuck" Ellis.
She is survived by: her brother J. D. Crawford (Kimmie); her sons, John Gregory "Greg" Porter and Judson Dana Porter; her daughter-in-law Lynn Creech; her grandchildren, Judson Porter, Clayton Porter and Brandy Stevens; and her close friend Erma Hudson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
