With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vonda Kay Mitchell of Dry Prong, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Taylor and Clarice Gates; and her siblings, Gene Taylor and Ginger McCuin. She is survived by: her children, Franky Ray Knight, Paula Kay Gross (Thomas Longworth) and Billy Wayne Knight (Courtney Taylor); her sisters, Rhonda Stroud, Rebecca Bryant and Karen Jones; her grandchildren, Matthew Gross, Samantha Gross, Zachary Carter, Amber Daniele, Ashley Corley, Miya Knight, Cody Rachal, Brooklyn Knight, Shay Knight, Kassidy Calk, Jodessah Edmonson, Gabriella Edmonson, Dacoda and Graclyn Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Miley Gross, Kaylynn Troquille, Aubree Troquille, Channing Troquille, Ameilia Gross, Braeleigh, Kaston, Anniston Corley, Ellie, Mason Daniele, Jane, Natalie, Launa Carter and Jaxson Rachal.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fairfield House of Praise (952 Par Rd 9, Dry Prong, LA 71423). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
