It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Slayter Rounds of Dry Prong, Louisiana, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Vernon O. Slayter and Billye Hartwig Slayter; her grandparents, Vernon, Johnnie Frazier Hartwig, Robert Thomas Slayter and Mae Deen Slayter; and her aunt Alvern Archer.
She is survived by: her husband Heath Rounds; her children, Sonya Hill (Matthew) and Christopher Rounds; her granddaughters, Samantha Broughton (John) and Sarah Hill (Clay); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Elizabeth, Kameron, Harper and Emberlyn; her brother Dr. Michael Slayter (Jane); her aunt Marjorie Gianniny; and her nephews, Tim and Matt Slayter. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Howlin Woof Society.
