She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollice Valentine and Ruby Valentine; and her sister Carolyn Hastings. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Hooker" Rhodes of Dry Prong; her daughter Tina Chelette Mitchell (Sam Forester) of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Kolton Mitchell (Audrey), Kateland Mitchell and Lakyn Mitchell Spurgeon (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Kole Mitchell, Elias Spurgeon, Elliott Spurgeon and Kinslee Mitchell; and her siblings, Howard Valentine (Cindy) of Dry Prong, Sandra Valentine Eagles (James) of Dry Prong and Gale Valentine Chelette (Lloyd) of Dry Prong.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Rush Funeral Home - Pineville (3307 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
