He was predeceased by: his parents, John Delrie and Geneva Goynes Delrie; his wife Deanna Westmoreland Delrie; and his grandchildren, Brock Burch, Deanna Nicole Delrie, Ryan Delrie and Vanessa Coutee.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Delrie (Lisa) of Prospect, Robert Delrie (Angie) of Pineville, Alycia Delrie Burch of Pineville, Johnnie Delrie Mallonee (Mike) of Pineville, John David Delrie (Denise) of Bentley, Sam Morris, Jr. (Juana) of Colfax and Tammy Coutee (Teddy) of Alexandria; and his siblings, Sherman Delrie of Prospect, Thomas Delrie and Jean Wyatt of Colfax. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
