He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwards and Ruby Edwards; and his nephew Douglas Coburn. He is survived by: his wife Martha Faircloth Edwards of Dry Prong; his children, Angela Ray (Larry) of Colfax and Sam Bihm (Brenda) of Buna, Texas; his sister Diane Brashear (Mark) of Pollock; and his grandchildren, Christopher Ray (Carly) of Pollock, Stephanie Ray (Daniel) of Colfax, Tammy Courtney (Tommy) of Buna and Sammy Bihm of Buna, Texas. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
