She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Kemp and Sarah Ridens Kemp; and her granddaughter Heather Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Sgt. Ted Mays; her children, Kelly Mays (Kimberly) of Houston, Katera Trahan (Jeremy) of Welsh, Stacey LeBlanc of Pineville, Crystal Mays of Pollock and Patrick Mays (Sommer) of Pollock; her brother Randy Kemp of Houston; her grandchildren, Kristian Cole, Jordan Cole, Thomas Mays, Hunter Mays, Madalynn Shaw, Aiden LeBlanc, Ian LeBlanc and Hazlie Trahan; her great grandchildren, Kreyson, Dayton and Hadlie; and her cousin Regina Cobb.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
