He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara McClaugherty; his daughter Angela Pace; and his siblings, Melvin McClaugherty, Betty Brown, Lucy Bernius and Pat Luellen.
He is survived by: his children, Charlie McClaugherty, II (Patricia), Staci Duncan (Eddie) and Trisha Roshto (Chris); and his siblings, James "Pinky" McClaugherty, Noel McClaugherty and Faye Moore. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
