He was predeceased by: his father Edmond James Hamilton (Ruby Mahaffey Hamilton); and his sisters, Gloria Renea Hamilton and Gail Onnittie Hamilton. He is survived by: his significant other Charlene Gomez Hamilton; his children, Abigail Hamilton Aaron (Michael Aaron) of Baton Rouge, Edmond Shane Hamilton (Marguerite) of Pearlington, MS, Mary Elizabeth Hamilton (Michael LeBlanc) of Fort Mill, SC, Brett Patrick Hamilton of New Orleans and Chad Harrison Hamilton (Tracy) of Baton Rouge; his stepdaughter Brandi Lynne Strickland (Thomas Brignac) of Prairieville, LA; his grandchildren, Carson James Rhodes, Whitney Katherine Hamilton, Grace Elizabeth Hamilton, Ashton Shane Hamilton, Porter Joseph Heywood, Brock Harrison Hamilton, Dylan Joseph Hamilton and Britney Lynne Nall; his sister Gillette Hamilton Savoie (Murphy) of Montegut, LA.; and the mother of his children Anna Jobes.
