He is survived by: his daughter Brinda Martin of Doyline, LA; his brother Vernon Helling of Channelview, TX; his cousins, Johnnie Lee Ball of Benton, LA, Cynthia Alba of Mena, AR, Teddy Ray Ball of Dallas, TX and Linda Burley of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Michael Shane Martin, Tony Dale Martin, Toni Marie Martin and Shyanne Maness.
