She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Ann and George Hawkins Alexander, Jr.; her stepfather Charlie Kupidlowski; her husband Ted Heard Everett, Jr; her daughter Sheryl Henry (Jerron "Grot"); her stepdaughters, Amy Scroggs (Bradley), Bethany Dominguez (Guillermo "Will") and Misty Everett; her siblings, Ave Alexander, George (Nancy), Greg (Lisa), Geoffrey (Lori), Gary, Glen and Gerry; her granddaughters, Emaleigh, Meadow, Gia and London; and her stepgrandchildren, Brianna, Julie, Caine and Riley. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to the Port City Cat Rescue.
