She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Baronette, Steven Gandy, Leon Gandy (Sherry Gandy), Shirley Martin, Phyllis Brawley and Larry Gandy. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great children.
