He was predeceased by: his parents, Tryon Durward McFarland and Julia Beth Holman McFarland. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Leslie McFarland Sutton (Tim) and J. D. McFarland (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Elise Sutton, Tyler Sutton, Claire McFarland and Tryon McFarland; and his sisters, Carolyn McFarland Guice and Julia McFarland Savana (Tony). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Downsville Methodist Church (4805 LA-151, Downsville, LA 71234). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
