It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Sims of Downsville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Ray Sims; her parents, Vivian Crumpton and Jeff Crumpton; her son Johnny Lee Sims; and her siblings, Willie Crumpton, Donnie Crumpton, Doyle Cain, Judy Chitwood and Joan Hixon.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Reynolds (Michelle), Lisa Alford, Randy Reynolds (Erica), Travis Sims and Shane Sims (LeeAnn); her grandchildren, Jeremiah Reynolds (Kelly), Daniel Reynolds, Katie Pritchett (Ike), Stevie Kuhn, Christian Reynolds, Elizabeth Hughes (Timothy), Lilli Sims, Evan Sims and Avery Sims; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Reynolds, Jace Reynolds, Karley Reynolds, Nate Reynolds, Kolden Kalinka, Weston Kalinka, Jaxon Kalinka, Hadley Kalinka, Koralyne Reynolds, Ellie Reynolds, Emerson Reynolds, Braxton Hughes, Macie Hughes and James Reynolds; her great great grandchildren, Isla Reynolds, Iris Reynolds and Ryker Reynolds; her siblings, Wayne Crumpton, Shirley Garrett and Pam Murray; and her sister-in-law Jerry Arrant. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews; and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home (8729 Cypress St, West Monroe, LA 71291).
