He was predeceased by: his wife Paulette Boyd; his grandson Danny Kyle Wright; and his father Coy A. Boyd, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelia Boyd (Zach Pearsall), Michelle Gascon (Guillermo) and Kerry Boyd; his sister Debbie Boyd Rankin (Ronald); his grandchildren, Gene, Heather, Charles Boyd, Taylor Wright, Elaine, Adriel Gascon, Michael and Andrew Boyd; his niece Salina Elmore; his nephew James Searcy; and his sister-in-law Phyliss Fern (Haven). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and very special friends.
Memorials may be made to Shriners, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
