He is survived by: his wife Wanda Simpson; his son Charlie Simpson; his grandsons, Chandler Simpson and Zachary "Pacman" Simpson; and his siblings, Charles Simpson (Becky), Randy Simpson (Janice), Julius Simpson (Peggy) and Sheila Caskey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
