With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mercedes H. Bourgeois of Donner, Louisiana, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Irvin Bourgeois Sr.; her daughter Patricia Braud; her daughter-in-law Beverly "Weesa" Bourgeois; her parents, Noe Hebert and Eunice Zerangue Hebert; and her sisters, Earline Adams, Anna Mae Lario and Virgin Lee "SueSue" Navarro. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and 3 step-great grandchildren.
