She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Wyre and Willis Wyre; and her siblings, Margaret Richardson, Yvonne Mims, Dorothy Wyre, Rev. Leo Wyre, Sr., Eddie Joseph, Sr. and Aldorsley Wyre.
She is survived by: her daughters, Takisha Wyre (Kevin Carter) and Chanda McBride; her siblings, Lara Wyre, Joyce B. Nelson, Delores Hall and Cleo Wyre, Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Eddie Mims, Dorothy and Marion Wyre. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
