He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille London Cost; his parents, Henry, Sr. and Corrine Cost; and his brothers, Albert Cost of Henry, JR. and Herbert Cost.
He is survived by: his children, Sidney Henry (Jean), James Ayo, Jr. (Mazie), Dwight Wright (Jeanette), Janice Williams, Iris Pilette, Sandra Williams (Vandell) and Lisa Cost; and his sister Brenda Cost. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren including 1 granddaughter who cared for him, Tara Cost James; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
