She is survived by: her husband Milton Dupard, Sr.; her stepson Milton Dupard, Jr.; her siblings, Curtis Birtha (Elisha), Sterling Brooks (Charlette), Rita Sills, Deborah Brooks Irvin and Sarah Wise (Stanley); and her children, Sargent Pleasant Mathews IV (Alma), Gerald Williams, Phillip Williams, Deadre W. Jones (Jerry), Carolyn Williams, Herman Knockum, Christal K. Rhodes (Rodney), Tawyn Knockum and Leslie K. Breaux (Bryan). She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
