She was predeceased by: her parents, George Claverie Sr. and Irene Williams; her former husband Joseph Sullivan Sherman; and her siblings, George Nicholas Claverie Jr. and Marie Claverie Childs.
She is survived by: her daughter Nikia Sherman Redmond; her son-in-law Dias R. Redmond; her grandchildren, Taylor and Dias R. Redmond II; her sisters, Sally Anne Claverie and Isabella Claverie McCants; her brother-in-law Robert McCants Jr.; her stepdaughters, Cheryl Wright and Rhonda Davis Mumphrey; and her sisters-in-law, Emelda Parker and Ruth Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the pandemic, the family greatly regrets a traditional repast following the services cannot be held safely.
