He was predeceased by: his parents, Jook Marix and Bernice Hill Marix. He is survived by: his children, Michele Cooley (Chad), Julie Marix, Jed Marix (Amy) and Jonathon "Jono" Marix (Kerry); his grandchildren, Brady, Brooks Brannon, Cade Cooley, Aubree, Amelia "Milli" Marix, Charlee and Teddi Marix; and his siblings, Jookie Marix, Jr. and Bernardine Legendre (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
