It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Shaheen of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, born in Paincourtville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, Claude Landry and Ida Landry; her sister Marian Blanchard; her siblings-in-law, Wilton Blanchard (Buddy) and Janet Landry; and her grandson Mace Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, George, Jr. Claude (Donna), John (Johnna), Leslie Nelson Cindy (Kirby) and Sandy Blanchard (Kevin); her grandchildren, Georgia Daniel (Alec), Hayden Shaheen, Kayla Bagley (Brodie), Vance Nelson (Emilie), Landry Nelson (Lily), Garrett Hales (Kelly), Parker Hales, Dylan Blanchard and Olivia Blanchard; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Eden Bagley and Koen Moore; her brother Joseph Claude Landry (JC); and her sister-in-law Amelia Lanoix.
