He was predeceased by: his parents, Florett Johnson and Charley Johnson; his grandparents, Beulah, Roosevelt Harris, Ethel and Charley Johnson; and his brother Darrell Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Walker Hudson; his children, Lairlyn Hudson, Latasha Hudson, Linsey Hudson and Hakeem Hudson; his stepchildren, Patience Shelley and Jon-Michael Person; his siblings, Carol Griffin, Sharon Nicholas (Gerald), Gail Harris, Ethel Cox, Deannie Sidney, Wade Hudson (Linda) and Charles Hudson (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Kylon, Kameron, Kailyn, Jordan and Jaxson; his stepgranddaughters, Jayden and Ariyana; and his godchildren, Terrill Nicholas, Kentrell Davis and Amanda Martin Williams. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
