She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Bessonet Sr.; her parents, Joseph Tridico and Lucille Sanchez Tridico; her daughter-in-law Cherie Bessonet; and her siblings, Lucille Bordelon and Harold Tridico, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Janet Schaubhut (Kevin), Terri Neal (Gerald), Calvin Bessonet Jr. (Sera), Lynn Bessonet and Alan Bessonet (Regina). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
