It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Mae Alsay of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, born in Paincourtville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Alsay, Sr. and Eva Alsay of Washington. She is survived by: her children, Paula Thomas, Tina Comeaux (Raymond, Sr.), Paul, Ronald, Eldridge (Sharonda), Donald Alsay and Jerry Alsay (Stephanie); her siblings, Shirley Alsay, Linda Crandle, Naomie Nelson, Donald Ray Alsay (Peggy), Joseph Alsay and Vernon Alsay (Meriam); her son Clifton Alsay; and her sisters, Deloris Lewis, Christina Fernandez, Frances Alsay and Deanna Burd. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
