He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve Callegan Maurin; his parents, H. George Maurin and Ethel Blanchard Maurin; and his brothers, H. George Maurin II and Joseph "Bubby" Maurin.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Landry (Glenn), Teresa Landry (JR), Jan Landry (Fred), Charles Maurin (Mai-Ly) and Vicki Fernandez (Jude); his grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Marie Landry, Jessica, Grace Landry, Brittany Foret (Cody), Lloyd Boudreaux III, Madelyn and Mason Fernandez; and his great grandchildren, Saphira, Annabell Foret and Everleigh Boudreaux.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jules Catholic Church (7161 LA-1, Belle Rose, LA 70341). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
