He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Wood and Cecile Wood; and his siblings, John Wood, Michael Wood and Sydney Womack Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Waguespack Wood; his daughters, Rebecca Theriot (Gregg), Tammy Matirne (Keith), Geralyn Stephens and Carmen Denham; his grandchildren, Gregory Theriot (Marcy), Jesse Theriot, Jeanne Theriot, Mason Matirne (Lindsey), Marie Matirne, Jacob Matirne, Allison Stephens, Noelle Stephens, Olivia Stephens, Kyle Stephens, Rachel Stephens, Celia Denham and Malorie Denham; his great grandchildren, Walker Theriot and Grant Matirne; and his sister Mary Lee Wood.
