He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Southall Johnson; his father Albert Whit Johnson; and his siblings, Ruben "Ruby" Johnson, Johnny Johnson and Cleo Howard.
He is survived by: his mother Sadie Sara Johnson; his children, Ashley G. Johnson (Renelle), Ronald Southall (Tiyonna), Angela Johnson Cantrelle (Walter) and Tiffany Johnson Carter; and his siblings, Victor Johnson (Mary), Helen Roseborough (Newry), Thelma Hudson, Ella Ruth Williams and Bertha Goodwin. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
