She was predeceased by: her parents, Adlar P. Gautreau and Rose Schexnayder Gautreau; and her siblings, Alvin Gautreau, Maurice Gautreau, Sr., Ann Gautreau Blanchard and Raymond Gautreau.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Brent Blanchard, Sr.; her children, Louis Brent Blanchard, Jr. (Vicki Acosta Blanchard), Cathy Blanchard Erie (Mark Erie), Karen Blanchard, Ginger Blanchard, Marmol (George) and Jeffrey Blanchard (Celia Naquin Blanchard); her great grandchild Martinique Blanchard Adams; her children, Bryant Adams, Avery Adams, Adaleigh Adams and Jeremy Blanchard; her grandson Jack Blanchard; her child Darce'Geismar; her grandchildren, Luke and Abby Clare; and her child Lauren Folse.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ourso Funeral Home (134 Houmas St, Donaldsonville, LA 70346).
She explained, "That's how I pray."Special thanks to Karen Blanchard and Jeffrey and Celia Blanchard for excelling in their care during her ongoing battle with Alzheimer's. Thanks also to the caring staff of Amedisys and Chateau D'Ville.
