She was predeceased by: her husband William Davis, Sr.; her children, William Davis, Jr., Shelia Davis Brown and Dorothy Davis; her parents, Clarence Kennedy and Dorothy Mae Curtis; and her siblings, Josie Mae Curtis Askins, Barbara Burdis, Elma Curtis, Eliska Wiggins, Alice Curtis, Edmond Curtis, Alvin Clark and Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Edmond Coleman, Sr. (Joyce), Ann Mills, Joyce Davis Pittman (Alvin), Angela Davis Cox (Steve) and Wilbert Carter (Vandora); her brother Josephvell Curtis; her godchildren, Alfred Askins, Jr. and Alicia Curtis Powell; her nieces, Evelyn Askins Brown and Larissa Curtis; and her grandson Carl Lee Davis (April Taylor Davis). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
