We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2021, at the age of 93, Ceola Marie Jackson Grant (Donaldsonville, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Rita Leon; her husband Charles Paul Grant; her father Louis Jackson, Sr.; her son Charles; her brothers, Louis, Percival and Leon; her mother-in-law Lillie Grant Lindsay; and her sister-in-law Vera Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, Cedric (Bridget), Kenneth, Gregory (Donna) and Cary (Deborah); her grandchildren, Chimene Grant Saloy (Torrey), Stephanie, Tumeka Moline (Terrence), Keila, Cara, Gregory, Jr. and Cary II; her great grandchildren, Christian, Mason and Nicholas Jutras; and her sister-in-law Gloria Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a gift to the Mrs. Ceola J. Grant Scholarship at Xavier University of Louisiana.
