He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul, Dorothy L. "Dottie" Ewen, Sam and Gladys "Big G" Burgess. He is survived by: his former spouse Doug A. Lemaire, Jr.; his parents, Kelly P. Ewen and Sylvia Burgess Ewen; his sister Derra E. Landaiche (Kyle); his goddaughter Kaitlyn E Guillot (Tyler); his nephew Reis Landaiche; his godchild Emerson Landaiche; his great-niece Blakely Ewen; his great-nephew Brody Guillot; and also, Tonka, Scooter, Lil Bit and Sassy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins as well as friends.

“To Blakes Family - Kelly, Sylvia, Derra, Kaitlin and Reis. I am profoundly sorry to hear about Blake passing. I have always loved Blake and hoped the best for him. I know everyone was not happy when he moved to Sarasota with me but, we sure tried to make a go of it. I stayed in contact with him over that next 24 years as he and I always shared a bond. I saw Blake in Feb 2023 on my way home to FL after Mardi Gras just before his stroke. Always love you Blake! Rest in peace. Eddie Gable”
