She was predeceased by: her father Burbank Smith; her siblings, Vernon Smith Sr. and Lille Mae Green; her grandson Trenton Williams; her goddaughter Ashley Hayes; and her godmother Sherleen Caesar Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Junior; her mother Octavia Green Smith; her children, Ebony Payton, DeQuentin Smith, Sr. and Brandon Payton, Sr.; her granddaughter Ja'Meka Payton; her stepson Corey Bennett; her godson Ronald Sheppard, Jr.; and her brothers, Andrew Smith and Bruce Smith. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 sisters-in-law, 7 brothers-in-law. and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
