She was predeceased by: her husband Junius Henderson, Sr.; her parents, Louis Heary and Alice Heary; her son Bernard Henderson; her siblings, Louis Heary, Albemia Mayo and Barbara Poche; and her grandsons, Jamone Henderson and Alfred Harvey, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Junius Henderson, Jr. (Selma) and Anthony Henderson (Janice); and her sisters, Lydia Stewart, Patricia Schexnaydre, Yvonne Green and Betty Stewart. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
